2009, a pizza odyssey
Giuseppe's obsession with pizza began in 2009, fueled by a relentless drive to create something truly unique, a pizza with a crust that was perfectly crisp, chewy, crunchy, and full of flavour. Inspired by his Roman heritage and Montreal upbringing, Giuseppe spent years baking and biting into doughs.
In search of the perfect crust he spent time learning from masters like Gabriele Bonci in Rome and Jeffrey Finkelstein at Hof Kelsten Bakery in Montreal.
Through countless hours of testing, baking, and refining, Giuseppe developed a style that blended the airy, crisp textures of Roman pizza with the bold flavors of a classic Montreal pizza. Each pie brought him closer to the perfect bite. A unique and memorable pizza experience that was both authentic and innovative.
G Pizzas is born
In 2020, after years of hands-on research and a long career working in some of Montreal’s most prestigious kitchens and dining rooms, collaborating with leading chefs, Giuseppe Sacchetti launched G Pizzas with a clear goal: to raise the standard for pizza in Montreal and beyond.
G Pizzas is built on a commitment to quality ingredients and thoughtful technique. The menu highlights Roman-inspired pizzas and unique plates, all designed to complement each other. Giuseppe sources Canadian and Quebec grains for his dough and selects cheeses and products that showcase the best of local terroir. The result is a menu rooted in tradition but shaped by Montreal’s dynamic food scene.
